Kris Thompson & 1915 Henderson Four Motorcycle Cannonball Run
Kris Thompson is determined to have his 1915 Henderson Four finished and ready for the Motorcycle Cannonball Run and it looks like he has a decent start on it.

Motorcycle Cannonball Rider #58 Kris Thompson - 1915 Henderson
This will be my ride for the Cannonball Run. It is a 1915 Henderson Short Frame with a 2-Speed rear hub. As you can see it is a "basketcase" just like it's owner. I will start the project here in a couple weeks. I will plan on spending the majority of the time to restore the engine and rear hub. If time allows, I will get some paint on the ol gal but I want to make it as mechanically sound as possible.
I have no idea what the condition in internally of the engine but it is all there and turns over. I got this project a couple years ago and have been waiting for the opportune time to get it back on the road. I will no doubt reach out to my friends that have helped in the past on parts and machine work. This ride will be a once in a lifetime adventure and hope I can make it the whole way. I live in Nebraska so the cold winter will allow time in the shop. I can't wait until Sept 10, 2010. ~ Kris Thompson
