Classic Motorcycle Event - Riding Into History
Riding Into History, one of America’s premier vintage motorcycle events, will return for its 10th Anniversary to the World Golf Village near St. Augustine, Florida on May 16, 2009. The event will feature Charity Rides, a Concours d’Elegance, the Biker’s Ball and the Historic Ride. All of the proceeds from Riding Into History will benefit the Buddy Check 12 breast cancer charity.

Vintage Motorcycles At Riding Into History Event
The event is presented by the Riding Into History Committee, which is comprised of volunteer members from the BMW Motorcycle Owners of Northeast Florida (BMWNEF), the Historic Motorcycle Society (HMS) and other supporting clubs.
Between 300 and 400 antique, vintage and classic motorcycles from all over the country are expected to enter the Concours. Thousands of spectators are once again expected to enjoy the event which also includes, exhibitors, entertainment, clubs and a variety of food. Admission is still only $10 at the gate for the Concours. Various packages are available for the Biker’s Ball and the Charity Rides, and they will be posted on the website – RidingIntoHistory.org.

Early Indian Motorcycle
Craig Vetter, world famous designer and Motorcycle Hall of Fame member will be conducting free seminars. Dennis Gage, the mustachioed star of Speed’s “Trippin’ on Two Wheels,” and magazine publisher and AMA Hall of Famer Buzz Kanter will be on hand to meet and greet as well.

Vintage Harley Motorcycles On Display
“With the World Golf Village as its backdrop, this is the premiere motorcycle Concours d'Elegance in North America,” Gage noted.
Perhaps Vetter summed it up best when he said, “A good cause, good people and good bikes. It doesn't get any better than that."

Early Thor Single Motorcycle
Internationally know motorcycle artist Don Bradley will once again provide the original artwork for the posters, which have become collectors’ items. Posters, t-shirts and other items will be available at RidingIntoHistory.org and at the event. Current event sponsors include American Iron Magazine, RoadBike, Classic American Iron, Miller BMW Motorcycles of Tallahassee, Sargent Cycle Products, Harley-Davidson of St. Augustine and Mercedes-Benz.
