New Old Stock? 2009 S&S Knucklehead

S&S Cycle Flathead Power Turn-Key Knucklehead

S&S Cycle Flathead Power Turn-Key Knucklehead

S&S Cycle’s Flathead Power unveiled a cool looking new limited production motorcycle this last weekend at the V-Twin Expo in Cincinnati, OH. Listed as a 2009 motorcycle, it closely resembles a lightly bobbed Knucklehead. The S&S people told me they will be making just 24 of these motorcycles, which will retail for under $22,000.

The Knucklehead style engine displaces 93 cubic inches, with an 8.2:1 compression and an S&S carburetor. Electrics will be 12-volt and a electronic single fire ignition.  4-speed foot activated transmission with a mousetrap hand clutch arrangement. Kickstart only.

This limited edition motorcycle is built with 16 inch wheels and, as you can see in the photos, it has bobbed down fenders. This pre-production version has a solo seat mounted with small springs to the frame. I am told the actual bikes might have pogo seats.

Crusing through AIM I found this great web site and as you can tell I read everything this great publication has to offer and what a great site. As an owner of a 1980 XL it suits me fine.
