No experience or information.
Are the runners merged in the manifold, or completely separate all the way? I'm sure you anticipated this but 1 X 1.500" per 1 X 48" cylinder is too small (and the dual throat manifold is very restrictive as-is).

Runners are separate ....

Yeah, this is going on a 96" Panhead..
Using S&S P-Series heads, Speed & Science 3-5/8" Jugs, STD early cases...
Going to give it a shot, if it doesn't work out, will be looking for a S&S Two Throat Carb.
Will bolt right up to the manifold being the only mod I did to it was weld on a support bracket tab...

Really didn't want to do any mods to the P-Series heads ...
Reason for choosing the Two Throat Manifold to make use of the Dual Riley's....
As said, if it doesn't act right, back to the drawing board ...
It's pretty much for show anyways, even got "Chopperdave" to cast some Kick-Ass air cleaners for the Beast ...

Here's the deal with these carbs...
I'm building up a nice fairly big inch Panhead totally from the best of after/market parts.
The owner lives in Wisconsin, when the motor is built, it will be shipped..
Being the Riley's are done, I would like to do some tuning to them so it would be easy for the owner to be somewhat of a Plug & Play the motor into his frame.
His motor still has a ways to go before I can call it done...
So ..... What I'm thinking of doing is to stick em on my bike (It's 90 cubes} and do some Test & Tune....
Be a little work for me to swap out the carbs ....

Didn't george smith run dual Rileys on his bikes originally?
He did on his Knuckle drag bike called the "Tramp"
Also another drag racer like them too ....
Chet Herbert his bike was called "The Beast"
And also the Drake Water Cooled Knuckle's ran em ...

Tuning may go down easy ....
I have attained the Info Book that Geroge Riley wrote up for tuning his carbs ....
If I could post a pdf file, it shows a world of tuning info ....
He even had tuning info for the Drake Knuckle ...

Very strange. The big photo of the left size shows air scoops... backward. At speed, they reduce air flow into the throat.
Think I remember seeing photos of that bike on the salt.. Chet had a huge air-box on it ....
Then again it's been a long time since I seen that photo, I could be wrong about the bike's owner...
I'm old, with a touch of ..... https://youtu.be/P2aeOcy3PVA
Drake in 3/4 midget , with Riley’s I believe
