    Just getting started.

    The chrome cam cover has got to go.




    Someone had a problem with the handlebar starter switch and moved it to the coil cover. I'll get that sorted out.

    Dave, looking at the primary chain inspection cover. It looks like it has holes in it? Is that because it is a belt drive?

    Kind of cool they still had the seat "T" mounting bracket between the tanks, was the seat post tube still functional in 84?

    Seat post was only functional on the police bikes and then they used the smaller seat posts (diameter wise) of the 45's.

    If you want to install a seatpost on a 1981 and later flh and it was not a police bike (or heritage) you have to machine out the seat post tube a bit to accept a bushing (actually the sprung frame bikes used 2).
