Servi Car wiring

I am wiring up my 1956 servi-car. Doing the tail lights I found in Palmers How to Restore your HD on page 432 "Servi-Car Taillamp Terminal Posts: 1946-1964 have additional terminal posts located in the rear bumper braces for the stop taillights".
I can 't find this terminal in my parts manual or have no idea of what it is.

Can anyone help?

I found 2 holes in each of the bumper braces. It looks like you use the same terminals that are used for the horn on the springer models. Rather than paying $20 for 2 terminals I will make my own using fiber washers & tubing over the screw,

Very nice. What color are you going to paint it? If I ever got a Servi, (that was not all original), I'd retro it with flat black and some tasteful pinstripping. Maybe even some WW2 nose art somewhere. Good luck with your project.

I think I am going too paint it blue. The headlight has the orig blue paint & I like that color.
Painting will wait for next spring

Interesting since the headlights were never color matched to the bike but were always black, or chrome if a deluxe package!

I got the headlight seperate from the servi-car at a swap meet. Were the headlights painted on any of the springer models? I was told it was orig paint.

Short answer is no. As far as original,most likely original to the can it came out of!

Long answer is: An original "Cycleray" headlamp would have the logo, a little, about 1-inch round circle of words around the word "Guide" in script, diagonally, lower left to upper right. Should be right at the point, center, on the back of the headlight bucket. They first came out on Springers in 1935, hence, carries a "dash-35" part number.
There are also two (logos), early and late. Late, used originally on S-model 125 Hummers, and ST 165s, up to the Pacers and Scats in the 60s, some of them. Different font for the word "Guide."
I agree with Rubone. Cyclerays were always black, and chrome if ordered as part of a "Chrome Group" or "Deluxe Package." They never were routinely painted the color of the bike.
Only exceptions to that I can think of were the 1937 oil tanks: painted to match the body color, one-year-only. Oily black smears in service put a quick end to that. Every other year, the Big Twins' oil tanks were black.

I see the black paint under the blue. It also has the Cycleray name on the point. The lens also says Cycleray.
