Weekend long get together Coonbottom FL

The guy that runs this thing is actually a Moto Guzzi rider and he puts it on for the Moto Guzzi owners club Florida chapter but all bikes are welcome. Usually a pretty fun event though! Figured I would post a link encase anyone is interested.

I myself will be going on my Yamaha YZF-600R lol

Coonbottom, FL - are you kidding me?

Sounds like fun. I have an old Moto Guzzi (perhaps the oldest one here on this classic American forum) but it's too far to ride that little sucker to Florida. Besides, I don't have a clue where Coonbottom is.

Interlachen, Flah. is just east of Gainesville, home of the Florida Gators, in Central Florida, but about fifty miles n. of me, Buzz. Google Maps is your friend.
I'd love to go, maybe get Trusty45 to go with me. We'd stir up those 'Tal'yin bike riders a bit! That's around Thanksgiving, a busy time in my shop.

Correct...North of Tallahassee. Best BMW Rally there is! Should be there now, but Personal Issues dictate otherwise. Here's a shot from Coonbottom '04!

December 12th is an affair in Interlachen. I just went back an read the posted event flyer more carefully. Now, that's in my neighborhood. I can get on Ol' Tex, that far, and maybe get Trusty45 and one or two others, maybe, to go along. Too much information on that one flyer, if you ask me. Confusing to an old biker. BMW Rally? Interesting, as that is a BMW on the left in the photo, but that's a Harley on the right. The Harley is a rare XA with horizontal "boxer" cylinders BMW style.

Glad you cleared that one up. Lived in Florida for 40 years, been from the keys to the panhandle, and went to school just down the road from Interlachen. Never heard of Cottonbottom, though. Motorcycles, beer and a fish fry. Sounds like a good time!
