    I'd have been too worried about what was gonna get caught between the rear fender and tire to have been able to hold on for the ride!!!

    After looking around after I posted this... I didn't know the whole story, but it really happened!!!

    Couldn't have been that big,otherwise they'd of wound up on the salt flats !!

    You just have to wonder.
    Coming off that bike on the salt at 153 MPH in your underwear?
    Not a good thing.
    Some of those boys were a little over the top.

    Anyone know if that bike is still around? Or where it is?

    It belongs to Herb Harris in Dallas. It is occasionally displayed at events.

    every time i've seen that picture over the years i think i couldnt hold my legs and body like that sitting still for very long much less at over 150mph. he da man.
