Classic Harley Ride in May 2010

We are considering putting together a ride for classic Harleys (and new ones too) in May from Wheels Through Time in Maggie Valley, NC (yes, they are still there and open most weekends) to Riding Into History charity bike show and ride in St. Augustine, FL.

We are thinking about a 2 day ride, staying mostly off the highways with an overnight at Augusta, GA.

How's this sound? Any interest in join us for this and any suggestions on how to make the ride the best possible?

Actually, I think you should make it a 2-WEEK ride, and cruise through the Mountain States on your way out to the PNW, where several of us here will join you as you make your way back through California, Arizona, and New Mexico.

I am just down the mountain from WTT and would definitley ride along, as much as I could. I have a trailer and could also help with rescue if needed.

I might have to trailer from Las Vegas to WTT, but I'm interested.

I can't speak for Dale but can't imagine he'd have a problem with people trailering to the museum before the ride.

And as far as I am concerned...the more classic Harley and Indian motorcycles on the ride the better. And who cares how the bikes got to WTT, as long as they are part of the fun on the road when we ride out.
