Panhead rigid frame weld shots needed

    Hi

Also posted on the AMCA site.

    Hi,

Getting close on my 1950. Realized this weekend I have over time bought 5 frames for this bike. Current one is nice though. Needed to replace some bits on the neck casting (easy enough with careful measurement) so my only other needs are quiet easy, front tank mount and the tool box bracket. Anyone able to post pics of the welds on these two items. Want to match the original look as much as possible.

    Thanks
    Craig

I would simply ship it to Wasco Frame and get it done right with the right parts. www.wascoframe.com

    Hi Chris,

I would agree, but not doing major stuff, nothing structural, just adding the tool box holder and the front tank mount. My buddy is a very competent welder/machinist and understands what I am trying to achieve. Just need to see the way Harley did it. Out of the 1/2 dozen frames I have, none have these original welds. All my bits and pieces did come from Wasco.

    Thanks
    Craig

    Perfect! Thank you.

I am assuming on the lower tank/hi way bar mount that the welds are similar on both the front and back?

    Thanks again, this really helps!

Tool box bracket looks like a repro that has been added...
