    Gentlemen,
    1) I this inquiry was posted on several forums because no one would give me a straight answer (thank you for yours Rubone for a civil reply)
    2) I do not believe I have ever argued with any info or opinions I have received in the past on this forum. I have been very appreciative of the info I
have received and always thanked them. If I have actually argued with anyone on the forum, please refresh my memory.
    3) I made no mention of trying to use these forks, I just wanted to I.D. them so I knew whether they might be of use to someone locally or scrap them.
The fellow I got them from claimed they were off of a Sportster.
    4) I am guilty of asking a lot of questions in an attempt to minimize the damage from my original (and freely admitted) mistake of purchasing the bike.
    5) I in no way was trying to be a nuisance, just overenthusiastic possibly.
    6) As this was the second snarky answer I have received from the same source I believe it is time for me to depart this forum. I have requested the
    administrator to remove my registration.
    7) My apologies to you all!

I always wonder why this forum does not have lots of new posts, getting closer to getting my answer.

I guess my 1st "Snarky" was when Rob said he could take it back because it had bad numbers & I said that would be interesting if everybody that bought a bad numbered bike on Ebay would return them.He came back to tell me i was an idiot or something like that!..I never looked at his numbers just went with what others had said.

It looks like you've decided to cut your losses. Good on you for a very honest ad. I hope you cover what you paid.

Not quite completely so. I t may have a title, but the numbers suck. Just look at his old posts here where it was discussed.
