You'll save a ton in shipping with those tires off.

    Re: Wheel value

I had the tires removed today and find no other stamps on rims. Lots of rust but no discernible stamping.

Would that mean wheel #1 is total repop and of little value?

Wheel #2 has the Dunlop marking so possibly carries a little more value?

Both hubs are valuable if the races are good. My acceptance of races keeps changing as perfect hubs become harder to find. If your friend wants to use the assembled wheels as they are, then that value is up to him. I don't think I've ever seen a Sears tire. "Made in USA".

I have had lots of Sears branded tires over the years, some in the old Armstrong tread pattern.

Then maybe I've seen them and thought they were Armstrong.
