    Panhead rear exhaust pipe OEM?

I have been looking for an OEM rear pipe for my bike for awhile and finally scored one, well i thought i had until i tried to fit it to the bike...

Can anyone confirm i have an OEM pipe (bottom one in picture) or an early aftermarket one?

Original exhaust has gentle bends and fits.
If it does not fit then it is not original.

It looks very much like an original pipe, looking at those pics so i'm thinking it may have been tweaked to fit something else?

Any suggestions on bending it slightly without ruining it? I took it to a local car exhaust place and the bloke said he couldn't do it.

I wouldn't try an bend it but I would take my disc grinder and take down the high side to even it out.Might even take the leak out doing it.

The exhaust bloke suggested that or cut a slice out and weld it, didn't want to do that if it's an OEM pipe.

I think it just needs straightening slightly in that section with the wrinkle, then it would fit perfectly.

How different are they? Could they be mistaken for one another? Do you have a photo of a swing arm rear pipe for comparison?

Problem solved! Went out into the workshop last night and corrected the issue. Thanks for posting photos Dave and others for the feedback. Chris, i am still interested in seeing the swing arm rear pipe if you have any pics or info.
