Thread: Big Twin rear mechanical brake drum.

  1. Big Twin rear mechanical brake drum.

    The original drum is tempered, the aftermarket I've seen are not. it makes a difference. Does anyone make a good drum?

    what aftermarkets have you looked at? I bought a paughco in the raw. It looked heat treated from what I remember.....I think I still have a picture somewhere of it when I got it. I've had no issues so far.

    I've run out of Harley drums and used a Lefco. I'm not happy with it. I may go with Paughco. Thanks for the tip.
