New to this forum and have been restoring a 1936 VLD for over 5 years. I've restored a few Jap bikes, they were too easy! This one is kicking my butt. I've learned a lot but have much left to learn.
Brought this one home in pieces, so have been sourcing NOS, used, repro, whatever it takes, to make it correct. No way it will ever be 100% with 80+ years old parts, the intention is make all the parts and finishes correct, show it a few times at AMCA meets to establish what is right and wrong, then ride it.
Venitian Blue with Croyden Cream is correct for '36 and my colors of choice.
