Rechristen it The Classic American Indian Motorcycle Magazine.

Perhaps fatally Un-PC in this age of "inclusion:" Heralded in its banner, "By, for and about the sport & preservation of products of the Indian Motorcycle Company, Springfield, Massachusetts, 1901-1953, r.i.p.

I know less than zero about publishing but I'd think for it to be successful you'd need to write about both the new and the vintage stuff. Maybe you get the owners of new interested in vintage and vice versa. Couldn't hurt from an advertising perspective to double dip...

Maybe you should ask the members of the (formerly on Yahoo) Virtual Indian group - https://groups.io/g/VirtualIndian/

IMHO, because I like most motorcycles I wouldn’t object to seeing some articles on modern machines, but there is a pretty limited selection of modern Indian bikes, they haven’t been around very long, not many models, and I think reading about them would get boring pretty fast.

I’d subscribe and I wouldn’t mind if you included the new ones, as long as the articles about the old ones are good.

I loved that magazine and still have all the issues. I think to be successful, you will need to include the new bikes. Either way I would subscribe and I have not owned an Indian since the 70s.

Perhaps you should make it just like American Iron magazine, but have most of the articles and tech tips about vintage Indians and at the end of the magazine have a lengthy article and photos of a new Indian model.

I would certainly subscribe whether you had new Indians included, or not. I think an all-Indian inclusive magazine would be interesting to a wider market.
