Need a Machinist or this part

I am needing just the arm like the one on the transmission top cover that stands up and has a square hole. The hole corners need to be at 12, 3, 6, and 9 O'clock. I live in a very non industrial area and the few machinists that once were here are all gone. The guy that has these is a member here but won't sell me just the rear arm. Any leads would be much appreciated. Metal needs to be hardened. Seadub https://www.ebay.com/itm/Shovelhead-...53.m1438.l2649

Just buy the whole thing and sell the rest

Most likely at the shop rate a machinist would charge your gonna be ahead

Or I volunteer Eric to do it!

I can make one for you but I can't harden it. You could maybe do it yourself if you have torches and a quench tank.

Send me a quick drawing of what you need.

You can buy the material for case hardening iron and steel. It works well and can be done at home with a torch. I used Kasenit brand.

Brownells' gunsmith supplies also makes a compound.

The products mentioned will just caseharden the outer surface. The inside will not be harden with the process. But the outside will be very hard.
A file will not touch it. I think around .010 - 015 deep. But I think that you can repeat the process to make it deeper. I may be off on the depth somewhat.
