Re: 1936 EL been on EBay numerous times

This is what was sent to me after the guy who assembled it had it judged

    96.25

    1. needed a cast clamp on front brake handle, we had steel
    2. argued finish on brass fittings on the rocker covers. no deduction Should be Parkerized.
    3. argued finish on banjo bolts at oil tank, we think cad, they think nickle. Nickle wash is correct
    4. wire routing on timer ( behind carb support ) needs to be in front
    5. needs 2 muffler clamps, we had 1 ( pics we researched, 5 pics - 3 w 1 clamp, 2 with 2 clamps ) Pre production pictures show 1. Production pictures show 2.
    6. needed painted bolts on rear fender flip, we had Parkerized. Also you have Cadmium plated screws on the chain guard cut out on the fender. Should be Parkerized.
    7. kickstand bracket missing rivet ( early 36 had 2 large rivets ) Actually '36 has 3 large rivets. Not 2 large and 1 smaller as '39 and later have.
    8. minor nicks on speedo drive nut at the tranny

Lots of people miss the Black VS Brown seat as Brown actually looks better. Black is correct though.

I've been watching it & made a few high $ bids on it, but you change the price every few days it seems.

Quiet around here. Kind of like right after a fart in church. The AMCA was trying to disallow people from mentioning their score sheet in sales. They don't want it to be used as a valuation for a bike. If you bought a bike from two guys that has bad numbers and they knew it . Then you may find help in the AMCA with a fraud case. If you sell it now with bad numbers. Then that's fraud also. If MR Olsen is wrong then that may be slander. Thing is you bought the bike from two twins in Minnesota. Carl lives in SD. He may have saw this bike in a local meet. He may have judged this bike in a local meet. It can't hurt to show the numbers or send an email of to Carl'scyclesupply and ask what gives.
