    It’s billed as a”Re-Creation”. Rudge frame, Indian motor, something about a Crocker OHV kit....so it could be called an “indiRudgeCrock”

    15:1 compression? What do the pistons look like? Without huge flywheels that will lock the wheel when push starting, unless the intake closing is very late the CCP is 250 psi or more.
    Linkert M7, AFAIK, is a Beck replacement for the 30.50 (500cc) Junior Scout, but it's 1" (there is no 1-1/8" Model M that I know of).
    Love the engine number...

    Sort of a mutant, but better as a running bike than a pile of parts, yes?

    I knew Gwen Banquer way back when. He was a very talented engineer, and machinist and was driven on any project he got into. There was a feature article in the Antique Motorcycle magazine about the Crocker overhead Scout conversion.
