Thread: Original Harley tools

    Original Harley tools

I have about 200 lbs of tools from the local harley dealer, I have been able to identify a lot of the tools from the knucklehead/panhead era but I think several of the tools are older and I do not have any dealer catalogs or manuals for those bikes. Can anyone post a pic of the tools page in some earlier dealer catalogs or point me in the right direction so I can figure out what they are.

    Matt,
Post pictures of the tools. The catalogs are many pages long and scanning/posting pictures is a big process. You need the info, the job is on you..

I got your voicemail yesterday. Will text some pictures. Are any of those tools going to be for sale?
There are a few early tools that I'm looking for.

Here are pictures of some of the tools in question. I figured out what several of them are but not sure about a lot of them.

    Re: Original Harley tools

Yes those are clutch tools Matt.
The conical ended one is an early knuckle rocker adjusting tool,
The threaded one with the bent arms (they are all bent) is a clutch hub puller,
The casting number 155-26B is a J engine holder fixture (clamps on the cases and holds in a vise)
The 815-30A is a hub nut wrench
