Ruby Red vs Burgundy HD Paint

Anyone have some old paint tins or OP Bikes with Ruby Red and Burgundy for comparison? The attached image shows 2 x 49's which are claimed to be Burgundy. The images on the right of the HD Ruby Red paint can shows some paint on the bottom of the tin, which looks very similar to the 2 Burgundy 49's. I am making the assumption that the paint on the bottom of the can is from this can.

Great color on an even better looking bike. Stunning bike panz.

How in the world do you keep that bike so clean? That bike looks amazing.

WOW, that's the first time i have seen your finished bike panz, and it came out beautiful! Now my question is, can anyone post a pic of an OP Ruby Red 50' for comparison? The bike bottom left in the photo i posted if John Pierces reference photo for Burgundy, unfortunately he has no bike pics for Ruby Red.

H-D often changed the name of a color, but the part number remained the same. these two have different part numbers.

Chris, i know you have/had an extensive collection of HD paint tins, do you have Ruby Red & Burgundy to compare side by side?

EDIT: Just realised they would probably be unopened...

Yeah i know they are not the same colours. I started this thread to confirm if the OP parts i have are actually Ruby Red or Burgundy. For example, i have a 49-50 ( &51?) rear fender that i believe is OP Ruby Red, but want to make sure as the two colours are VERY similar so when i take the parts to the painter, i want to make sure he matches Ruby Red not Burgundy.

Re-reading my orignal post, maybe a bad choice of the word "claimed", i should have said "known" i suppose, sorry for any confusion. If anyone has a photo of an OP Ruby Red Pan they could post i would really appreciate it.
