more pics of switches..notice the higher bump on 1,2,4,& 5...Attachment 5163..the ones with holes for external wires
notice the angle of the bump is different on 2 & 5
So DH50 is different angle bump than DH-50
Also the first two with no markings & holes, have different angles on the bump similar to the DH covers

Wow, nice documentation Duffy. I had no idea regarding the large hole - small hole.
Now Ill have to dig my stash out to look at the differences first hand.
    Thanks for posting this.

The small hole covers were for 2 wire asphalt sheath such as pursuit light on/off only, the large hole handles a three wire sheath as used in accessory turn signal types. This just based on dismantling many over the years.

    Re: HD Headlamp switch levers

I have looked at a '63 & 66 headlamp switches. They have the slanted area on top & appear to have the taller bump like the earlier 3 position switches. This is 1968 info I found.

Duffy, that red material is Phenolic sheet.

Thanx Robbie,I'll see if my pea brain can remember this time !
If there was no Phenolic sheet in the 3 position switches, that would give even more clearnce for the pin/spring
