    1936 Axle nuts - Correct finish

    Am looking for info re correct finish for correct finish 1936 axle nuts. Believe front castlated and sleeve nut should be parkerized, although cad has also been suggested. Which is correct? Believe the rear is cad. Any assistance greatly appreciated.

    Factory photos show front Parkerized and Rear Cadmium or possibly Nickle Wash.

    Should there also be a parkerized cotter pin installed through the front axle nut?
