    Travelling for Thankgiving

I am heading to Bedford NY for Thanksgiving. Is 91 a good route vs 84? thanks, Ron

Thanks, Rob. I've got to wait until Wednesday.I drove truck for a bit and coming home on 84 could be a days trip from Hartford to Maine, Crazy. I'll probably stick with 84. Flying would be really nice :-)

Wife's cousin lives south of White Plains and we go there for Thanksgiving maybe every third year. South on 91 to 95 and I've never had a problem with traffic on Thanksgiving day going that route. But that route takes you too far south for where you're going, right? Living in Maine, or Vermont, we don't know traffic! (...but I've also been on the Maine Turnpike before when it was bumper to bumper....sucks!)

91 to 95 is a bad idea, on a good day. 84 could be a nightmare, but for me it keeps me a little further away from NYC and everyone going into it to see Grandma. I would head south on Route 7 in Danbury then wander over via side roads. 684 will be no good.
