Thread: Just arrived

  1. Just arrived

    Hey there,
Brand new member. About me: born-n- raised on a small island, Manhattan. Read my first easy rider mag. @14yrs old in 1970. Knew then I wanted a shovel. Got it on 11/23/1976 in Jax. Been all up & down East coast while in USN. Still have it. Kids want it left to them in will. I tell them don't wait buy your own. Also have an EVO, it's nice. Smooth & reliable but it ain't no shovel. As far as pics go, I'm no computer guy, have no cell phone, watch or any vehicle newer than 1999. Prefer points over electronics, carbs over fuel injection. Wife & I enjoyed riding, exploring, & meeting new peeps. I guess I can be either be categorized
as simple man according to Lynrd skyrd or just a lucky man, ELP, anyways that's me, glad to be here.

You'll enjoy your visits here, Joe. I think CAIMAG can be inspirational, and encourage people to look at bikes they wouldn't have considered before. Well, I guess if all they ever had were Euro, Asian bikes; but I think everyone here loves those bike too. For me, it's a cup of coffee in the morning, and then CAIMAG, and the AMCA forum.
