    1941 & later gearshift knob. Tom Faber makes correct ones.
    You see something as simple as that and it makes you wonder how serious the restorer was. Lotsa other repop. He's banking on the cachet associated with that year. I Suspect it's one of those $2,400 1936 replica frames, too. Would like to confirm it in person. Kinda, like the 1936 EL r. chainguard was bolted solidly to the primary cover. We see here generic repop later chainguard cotter pin/spring hardware. A 36 restorer would know better than that.

    Very poorly done. Sloppy work. Paint and plating issues. Incorrect parts.
