    Looks like I better get out the JB Weld.

    Naw, time for a new case. It is a short rib 1941 FL.
    Whoever welded it did so without V grinding the crack or welding it on the inside. Some real goober work.

    Probably done while assembled.

    Seriously, clean the boogers off and grind the crack.That is definitely weldable.

    It is a mess but I think it can be fixed, re-machined and brought back to life as well.
