    Re: L&W Sidecar Body

Can someone give me the ball park price of the 36-57 sidecar body that Merele sells please. There is no pricing that I can see oin his site. Asking because therz one for sale about an hour's drive from me at what sems like a decent price. Looks like obo pricing. He also has a 57 sidecar frame. Looks like he will separate because he is offering the prices separatley.

I would think that it all depends on condition, complete, matching numbers and so on. An hour is not that bad. Post the ad if there is one.

I will load the link from C-list but from the ad the sidecar is still in the packing crate, never busted out. Don't need the frame but if it is something that someone here wants/needs we can work something out for sure. He was asking $2100/OBO for the package

I wouldn't worry about Merele's prices. I'd worry more about him getting around to making one if i needed it. He's no spring chicken and i doubt he has many bodies left hanging around.

Matching numbers is huge to me and being Merl's body makes it less attractive. The frame looks in good shape and looks complete plus a complete tire setup. Sidesteps are kinda hard to get as i need the correct one for my 42 and been looking for a year now. I would offer 1500 and as high as 1800. Keep the body and sell the frame and you should be in like flint. Imo.
Oh, I have some extra seat frames with springs.

Wont post pics anymore as I'm tired of the third party hosting sites and done with it. Send a pm and I'll send pics thru email or phone.
