1915 Harley Boardtrack Motorcycle Racer - Sons of Speed

Here is a brief video of my freshly repainted 1915 Harley boardtracker on the pipes.

Engine rebuilt with some secret sauce by Matt Walksler. I plan to race this in Billy' Lanes Sons of Speed in October 2017 in New Smyrna Speedway.

I raced it with a slower engne the previous March and scared myself silly!

    Pray for me :-)

My goal is to shoot photos and video of this bike in action at the Sons of Speed races to share here and in the pages of American Iron Magazine.

Clinchers are only stupid if the owner is stupid.

There's some vintage enduro japanese bikes with profiles that appear as a clincher. I can't remember what models but quite a few guys have been building these wheels. They are 36 spoke too so you can't use JD hubs.
    27 JD (almost)
