I'll ask him. He sent me the carb to go through and I put new wires in his coil that I'm shipping back today. He mentioned he had a small fire and just saw the video he had posted on FB...

What would allow one part of a carb to be charged differently? I thin I may have answered that. He used such good thread sealer on his manifold that a charge can travel down his throttle cable. Nah that's to hokey.

Do you think that is a spark?
Is it a backfire that appears to be a spark?
How far does your spark jump when you test for spark?
Do you think it bypassed the plug & sparked thru the intake valve & thru intake & carb to the throttle plate without grounding closer?
A customer called recently & told me his 12v battery was throwing a spark to his frame....about 1-1/2"
He wasn't happy when I kept laughing.
