I think i'd end up a basket case if i took that on. Give it another 5 years and you'd be picking that lot up with a vacuum cleaner. ha ha ha

I've seen this pos in person right here in my hometown Baton Rouge louisiana....this thing spent decades under a pecan tree in a guys backyard totally unprotected from the elements. An original super clean 48 pan recently sold for $75,000 so this one here has to be worth the $25 right!

the last time I saw this thing the guy was wanting $15000...as We walked away I told my son oooook... I would think long & hard before offering him $1000...if I'm not mistaken on that bike the cases were damaged from being dissolved by sitting in dirt & water...if your interested have him send you more photos of the cases...I want to say that was an ex police bike too
    Good luck

I was thinking maybe a fresh battery and a few hours making adjustments- maybe check the oil, top off the tanks with fresh gas- what the heck, points & plugs, too. Buy it in the morning, ride it that afternoon. What's the big problem...?

pecans in the bag sell for near $15 a pound. a good tree will put out 40 - 50 lb / year. 10 years you could make $5000 easy. buy the tree
