    Cycleray on ebay

This headlight has the script at an angle.. is this normal?
Seller says bucket is steel yet it has no ground rivet..is that normal?? Shouldnt it be brass??
I am trying to find a correct headlamp for my 1940 ULH project. Would this be correct for me?? Thanks, Paddy
Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/182623551146

Shells were made in brass and steel, brass was usually chrome plates, steel was painted, there are exceptions, I have a painted brass shell.

35 to 43 no ground wire
    43 to 48 ground screw
    49 to 57 ground rivet

Headlights are $5.50 in the 41 catalog, this is ridiculous.

I relize i will have to pay up for the correct light. My intention was to do this bike with the chrome option as i already have most or the pieces in chrome, top fender trims and wheels dash ect. This is gonna be a tough one to find...

    Re: Cycleray on ebay

All the brass bodied Cyclerays I've ever owned had cracks in them in the mounting bolt area. Repairable, but a pain to get right for chroming. I have one in my spare parts pile and just looked it over. It's cracked too.
