    Servicar based trailer with patina

About 15 years ago I acquired a poorly built trailer that was "bundled" by a sidecar seller to sweeten a deal I was waffling on.
I decided to build a new frame and repair what was left of the servicar body.
Here's the frame on my friend Mel's layout table.

The frame with torsion arm suspension and Cushman scooter wheels.

    The paint job.

It's a fun little trailer. I wonder if I can carry enough tools and parts to get from Vegas to Daytona.

    Nicely done. How's it pull?

It pulls really nice and easy behind my Road King. I'm having some tracking issues with the 59 Panhead and the trailer adds to that problem. At 70 mph on the freeway, the Pan gets to wandering when there are rain groves in the pavement. It has new bearings in the neck and swing arm. I'm not sure what to look at next. With the trailer on, it wobbles a little worse.

Star hubs rebuilt. Wheels trued. New Avons mounted and balanced. I'm perplexed.

Nice job on the trailer Pigpen! On the pan, have you checked to make sure the rear tire is tracking correctly?

Tires with grooves that run parallel to your bike will get hung up on grooves, bridge grates, road snakes etc. Modern HD's using Dunlops are notorious for that, lots of guys switch to Michelins that have angled grooves. I did the switch about three years ago on my Roadie and all the tracking issue went away. Good luck and the trailer is cool.
