    assembly lube

I have always just used the oil that I will put into the tank only because it would be running soon.I am curious about what you guys use if you may have to set on the engine for a bit..
    Thanks,Ron

I'd use torco, white lithium I use for starter clutches on newer bikes . I believe S&S sells assembly lube . Probably torco.
I don't think I'd want to use lithium grease on engine bearings.

I really don't think the white grease would hurt anything,it's just harder to work with compared to an oil....

If motor has to set a bit before being started ,use a jell type prelube.
