    Re: Tomcat's 47WL Beach Racer

why does this stuff take all day to do one wheel?

I was going to re use the old spokes but some broke when I broke down the wheel.....So I got new ones......but now I'm just going to use all new "OEM" original spokes but going to parkerize the front spokes now....I know they should be cad for my year but I don't have any other parts ready for cad at the moment and I wheelie wheelie want to get farther on this project.

The rear is OEM original 18" spokes

Some assembly required. Finally found the elusive m51 but now I think this thottle plate wear might be excessive?

    Re: Tomcat's 47WL Beach Racer

Does anyone read this stuff anymore or build motorcycles?

I'm to the point I need to buy tires. Looking at Firestone Motorcycle | ANS. Is the Firestone Cycle | ANS | 400-18 the correct size? And also what is the tube size and good source for a quality tube?

yes! there are people reading. I think I would go with the 4.50 x 18 ANS style just a little wider footprint on the sand.

I enjoy your posts and envy your quality work. I remember when you started here...

I am reading and watching your progress! I usually do not write anything because I am more of just a watcher. If there was a like button I am sure there would be lots of those type responses. I have a 32 V acquiring parts for at the present time so some of what you and others do I am learning from. Thanks and keep up the good work

Ditto. I am trying to learn and don't have anything to contribute, but I appreciate you taking the time to share all the photos and information. Thank you.
