    Great stuff Robbie! Always fun to see Hap and The Steno in H-D advertising. The factory artwork is interesting , it never materialized quite as drawn for these catalogs.

    Love it, Rubone! "New for Twenty-nine, Twin Headlights! Makes Harley unique in the motorcycle world! We'll make it a Harley trademark for years to come!


    Except in real life, it made all Harleys in the dark look like they were ordinary cars much farther away going at slower speed as they bore down the highways.
    Crashes and lawsuits ensued.
    The new feature also used a little more 6-volt juice, so the factory attributed the change back to single headlights in mid-1930 to an electrical saving, and Twin Headlight Harleys were history.
