    Fall colors

I think fall is the best time to ride... maybe because we know the season's coming to an end. Yesterday a friend and I took the day off and headed to the Canadian border, 280 miles round trip starting at 42 degrees and warming to the high 60's... picture perfect day and the leaves are starting their thing... displaying great colors. These aren't the best photos, but I'll be riding more and forcing myself to stop and smell the roses a bit with camera in hand... hopefull more to come. Let's see what's going on elsewhere!

the rides we played hooky on...

Nice time of year for a ride through the islands. What part of VT do you live?

Alan, the lake photo is Memphremagog, looking into Quebec! We're near White River Jct. and a couple of Indians would look even better sitting next to your Harley... we'll have to join up for a ride when you're ready!

Ah ha! Looked like Champlain. Newport is a nice little town, the northeast kingdom is gorgeous this time of the year. We do some skiing up at Jay but I live closer to Smugglers Notch, by Lake Elmore. Yes, a ride is a must when the old girl is finished!

A video. Imagine you're really not very tall and this would be your view looking through the handlebars...

Pisten-Bully, in your video you can hear a kind of ticking sound throughout it. What makes that sound? My bike makes it so I know it is normal, is it the breather?

Where did you find the midget to ride the bike and wear the camera?
