Radio boxes for late rigid pan - dimensions

Does anyone have a late rigid frame panhead that has the correct radio boxes? Since I am completely unable to locate any original ones for my '57 I am resigned to having a set made at a sheet metal fab shop, even though I know the finished product may not have the same exact outward appearance. I do not plan on installing any radios so will just use them as saddlebags. Accordingly, all I need are the physical dimensions. And perhaps a pic and/or description of the mounting brackets though I suppose I could rig something that would work.

I have the correct siren, luggage rack and fire extinguisher ("Police Motorcycle"), oil tank, battery plate parts, parts for speedo lock, etc. so this would be the last piece of the puzzle.

Many thanks in advance for any assistance.

Maybe check with Brian Keating, AKA BPK!! on here. He recently sold that beautiful 57 police bike that was discussed here. Search on here and you may find it and some clear pics and be able to scale it close.

Re: Radio boxes for late rigid pan - dimensions

If someone has an original set of the metal radio bags I would appreciate if they would just measure the exterior dimensions. I really only need the length and width as I intend to make ones taller than the originals. Once I have those dims, I can take it from there.

Thanks in advance for any help.
