    WOW! Wonderful~! Thanks for sharing that great picture with us Robbie! Early this year it made national news a young mountain lion attacked a runner up around the Horsetooth area, about 2 miles from where we live.     A couple from last nights walk..

    Mama Hawk watching me closely (Redtail)


    Because she has these little guys in her nest, an old repurposed Raven nest,


    And very nearby another Raptor watching carefully (Long Eared Owl). I haven't found her nest yet..

    During the last 2 months .I have had plenty of time to walk the woods. Every day the kid goes with. She learns more on these walks then a school would teach her. Here is a video of her new pet. You'll need to watch to the end to see her pet.
