    Go for it. There is one in Oregon that shows up at a meet in Corvallis.

    Still gathering parts.
    Anyone know of a source for early plans or drawings?
    Would like to build a carbide generator to make acetylene in order to power up the headlight and tail lamp by flame. Who needs electricity....😁

    You only need early coal miner technology of Carbide lamps made from brass to do just that. You also need the carbide. When I was very young you could purchase it at any hardware store. I never see anymore unless it is in a pellet form for Lionel Train engines.
