If possible could you post the route from Milwaukee to Anamosa? I would like to watch you go past. Good reason to take the day off.

What I understand, the riders really don't know more than generally which way. The route is relieved on the morning of departure. Maybe some might leak by roumor or an obvious part of road, and lunch stops might be mentioned. The riders get their roadbook and the antourage get theirs as they don't follow the same route. All riders go the same route, but have to find their way without GPS, just by written instructions so it is a kind of orientation rally. But the org. promised backroads and scenic routes and no highways.

We do not know the routes either. They give us a route sheet the night before.

Here are some pics from the Anamosa stop. It was too crowded to get better pics. Buzz had a nice end spot when he parked, so It was a bit easier to get a pic of his '29.

Someone looks like they could use a break!

    Here are some more pics.

TomCat, I think you and I were shoulder to shoulder today. I overheard you telling Buzz your name, and it didn't register anything until I just saw you post. You were mentioning something about a '47?

Buzz, it was cool to finally meet you. Maybe next time we will have enough time to have a conversation. I know you were pretty excited to see John. He looked to be doing pretty well as he was walking around the event.

Thank goodness you don't have to buy your own oil!

Yep, that was me. I think I shot the same picture as you did of buzz. The only thing is I can't upload any pictures until I get home in two days....I took a ton of pictres. Having the time of my life. I just got back to the hotel at 11:30pm. I was helping greasysideup...josh Wilson # 68 rebuild his steering head bearings.... He was missing 7 out of 21 ball bearings in the upper bearing cup. So we rebuilt the upper and lower. What a great guy! I will be riding with him all day tomorrow!
