In spite of the bitter cold weather and occasional snow here in Maggie Valley I took my first ride on the new Motorcycle Cannonball 1929 Harley with the rebuilt 2 cam motor in it, and I can tell you this bike is amazing. Read all about it in American Iron Magazine.
We are close to finished, and as you can see by the photo I took today behind the Wheels Through Time museum, the bike looks great. We have changed the four muffler exhaust for something lighter and less likely to give us issues on the 3,800 plus mile ride I have planned for the Motorcycle Cannonball later this year.
I took this photo today after the third 10-15 mile shakedown ride. Since the photo we installed a nice luggage rack and a pair of better mirrors. Tomorrow we get back to it at Wheels Through Time where we fine tune and ride it some more. Then off to the AMCA meet at Oley for the weekend.
