As my rewire project comes to an end, I'm replacing all the bulbs on the bike. Currently I'm running Wagner 4449 Bulbs in my spotlamps, but was curious if this was the correct style bulb. Should I be using a bulb like the 4449 with the "grooved" glass or would a 4416 with "smooth" glass be the correct style?

Is that the "smooth", single-filament 6v. bulb that is otherwise identical to the Cycleray headlight bulb? That's what I remember.

The 4416 smooth glass is closest to the original Guide bulb.

From my research the spotlight bulb was used till 61 and had a harley part number of 68715-49. For 62-64 the spotlights were sealed units with an HD part number of 68726-62. Which do you really have?
