I had heard at one time that champion plugs ceramic was a little soft and the blasting media would imbed in the ceramic. Also when changing brand of plugs run a thread chaser in threads as champions also had a slight variation on thread.

It is a waste of time reusing plugs or blasting them and I will not use any Champion plug they are junk. AC plugs only, for me.
