I bought this front brake assy. on the bay. The brake shoe pivot was crooked, so the shoes where way out of wack. It was actually the backing plate that was bent. I put it in the vise, clamped on an angle for leverage, heated up the plate, and wala!

A repaired OEM part is always far better than a brand new repop...! (Generally speaking, that is................)
I like to see these simple little fixes that other people do--- it makes me feel like I'm not alone..!

Thanks Big, Im trying to keep it all OEM, whatever aftermarket crap i wind up using will be easily replaced. Such as, lights, horn, etc.
Easily replaced, not easily found, i should add.......................
