If you scroll down near the end you will see a copy of an order issued from the Headquarters of the First Canadian Army on markings for military vehicles.On April 11/1944 an order was issued by Lt.-Col. C.F. Laurin that all A and B series vehicles (motorcycles were considered B series)will have their red and white recognition markings removed and a white 5 pointed star painted on.

Front stands were standard equipment on WLCs. They were also an available accessory for any model in any year, just seen rarely..is that a stand for the front tire off of the fender? Never seen one before, only on the rear.
