1924 Harley Wins Pewter Run Article & 1966 Shovelhead Harley In New Issue
The new issue (February 2010) of American Iron Magazine went on sale yesterday and, among the choppers and Twin Cam Harleys there is a nice full feature on a beautiful 1966 Harley Shovelhead dresser. Also an article I wrote about riding my 1924 Harley in the Pewter Run last summer.

Yep. I figure it's better to wear these old bikes out from use rather than have them rot away from lack of it. I have to admit how impressed I was with how well that old Harley ran on the back roads of New Hampshire. And I know there is at least one other Pewter Run competitor in this forum (Hint - he rides a red Indian sidehack).

Got mine in the mail last week but just did a quick flip through the pages. Saw the article but just haven't read it. I did take note of the 10 things to do in 2010 of which I will complete 8. (Unless #1 literally means detailing a Harley (vice my Indian) then I'm down to 7)
