Tidy Little Knuck Bobber

I like the idea of this new section. A lot of us can't afford to build a perfectly restored classic but a lot of us can build something cool and fun like this Knuck I found on line. Sweet little B to B custom with some great lines.

I normally don't like the small gas tanks that show so much of the frame backbone but this one works. What forks and wheels are those?

Forks and wheels put me in mind of early Sporty. I don't go ape over small tanks either. 3.5 fatbobs would look good on her too, but maybe that's what the builder had at the time. It is sweet looking.

You'd want to tuck your left pant leg into your boot, for sure. Look where the clutch pedal is.
The frame seems to have a lot of the tabs intact (ya think it's original or repop?) but the lock area has been cut out of the neck. Ouch.
Sweet lookin bike, for sure, I'm not going to criticize!

There were at least four different Knuck frames built since '41. Which was yours?

Re: Wheels an Forks

Just a guess on my part but them forks looks like early steel sporty sliders circa 54 ta about 71 or2 ish. Wheels also look like sporty options of H.D. persuation. Am I close?

peanut tank

Think what ya will bout this tank. I think this knuck is an excellant build, very clean. About the small tank, I just offed one on E-Bay. Totally unfinished complete with surface rust and some crude bondo ridge highlights. no dents and basically in good shape needin finished of corse. It went to germany for 286.00 american green backs! not bad for anold garage almost thrown away!
