Re: Springer vs Girder Forks

Californian's are a cut way above the jerkoffs on American Chopper.

Re: Springer vs Girder Forks

Only fools argue with success. Spectacular, world-wide, commercial success.
The Tuttles are self-made. They've built their peculiar style of motorcycles ("like" um or not) for John Deere, Caterpillar, POWs, the New York Fire Fighters, Jay Leno, and dozens of other entities. It's campy, but it's supposed to be, with their artificial deadlines, for added drama, and revealing their human shortcomings.
Now they appear to have spawned a whole new "family-is-in-business together" genre (seen "Pawn Stars" yet?) The Vegas pawnbrokers owe their existence on TV to the Tuttles.
Some of us make fine wine, some are stuck with sour grapes.
Comments like that say quite a bit more about the speaker than his subject.
JMHO.
