Kind of cool old Harley dealer sign on ebay. I figure it must be old because there are no "(R) Registered" markings on it that are on all Harley items these days.

here's a real attempt at an answer...
was it around 1986 when Harley was listed on the NYSE that they started using the (R) ?
I cant find out in anything I have as far as history research for the MoCo

I had that sign on my dealership in 1981. I think it may have come out after the "Buyout" in June of 1981.
